Sedation Dentistry

Nearly 50% of the population feels nervous or uncomfortable about going to the dentist or having dental procedures done.
Dr. ? understands the importance of helping patients feel relaxed and comfortable during dental procedures.
If you feel that sedation is necessary for your dental care, give us a call to learn more about our sedation dentistry.

We Offer the Following Types of Sedation

IV Sedation - With IV sedation Dr. ? uses medications intravenously to perfectly adjust the optimal level of sedation according to each patients comfort and safety.

Oral Sedation
- Dr. ? give you a small pill to take 1 hour prior to your appointment.  You may use oral sedation in conjunction with IV sedation if needed.  By the time of your appointment you will be very drowsy.

With both IV and Oral sedation Dr. ? can accomplish many procedures during one visit.  Both sedation procedures are very safe and effective.  The medications that Dr. ? uses will stay in the patients system for several hours after the appointment, so we get few complaints of pain after procedures are completed.

How You May Feel

With both IV sedation and oral sedation most patients remember nothing about their treatment. A few will remember a little, usually at the end of the appointment when we are getting them ready to go home. You will need someone to bring you to our office on the day of your sedation appointment and you MUST have someone take you home afterwards.
